I originally started playing the drums when I was about 4. My dad ,which had been a drummer for many years at that time, started to teach me the basic technique I need to further my ability. Though school I played in my bands which included Jazz band, Marching band, and Concert band. From an early age I played with groups of people in bands as well as at church. Once my skill started to increase I took professional lessons from a well known percussionist Denis Winkle. After taking lessons for a couple of years I started to give lessons. About two years ago I joined a band named Unorthodox. We traveled and played many places as well as cut a CD. I had to give up playing with Unorthodox for a while because of school and work at Ernie Biggs. I attend Missouri State University and will graduate in 2009.
