Justin Gabossi was introduced to music at age one by his father Bill. His father was a 2nd generation drummer and played from an early age. Justin began a more dedicated pursuit of music at the age eight “When I was finally tall enough to reach the bass drum and hi hat pedals my dad began working with me and showing me the basics. At the age 11 Justin’s technical study began and he went on to study jazz with the late Dave Badell. Justin wanted to play as many styles of music as he could , therefore, he joined every band he could from concert band to the marching band. During and after college, Justin had the opportunity to play with several great bands outside of the scholastic realm and has always felt the club scene or improvisational jam settings have been some of the greatest learning opportunities. Justin has been with Ernie Biggs for a year and half now and has established a solid group of fans that keep coming back for more.
